We are a family-owned and operated breeder that has been breeding since 2014. Our passion for the breed started when we got our first Golden Retriever and fell in love with their loyal and friendly nature. Since then, we have been dedicated to breeding healthy and happy Goldens for families to enjoy.
We take great pride in our breeding process, which starts with carefully selecting our breeding pairs. We only breed Golden Retrievers that meet our high standards for health, temperament, and conformation. Our Goldens are raised in a loving and nurturing environment and receive regular veterinary care and socialization.
Our Golden Retriever's are primarily outside dogs by their choice. We have several acres they are free to roam or they can access our indoor temperature controlled facility at all times. Our kennels are spacious and comfortable, and provide a place for each dog to have their own space to rest or eat without having to compete.
Early Neuro Stimulation has so many benefits and this video does a great job explaining the exercises and why. All of our puppies start Early Neuro Stimulation exercises at 3 days old and are finished by 16 days. During this time we are also weighing puppies to ensure proper weight gain and trimming toe nails.
Potty training starts at 2-3 weeks as soon as they become mobile. Did you know the natural instinct of a puppy is to move away from their laying area to use the bathroom? We take advantage of this instinct and build on it. We start the puppies on litter trays right off their bedding area and as they grow we move them farther and farther away. By the time they are 5-6 weeks old they are fulling trained to a doggie door and going outside. This gives them the best start for new puppy homes because they associate pottying with outside grass. Once they go home they are easily trained to go to the door when they need to go. Most homes say little to no accidents.
Manding is teaching a puppy there are polite ways to ask for attention, instead of jumping or barking. We start early with rewarding for their "tush" on the ground. We are not asking them to sit but we are reinforcing the behavior when they do sit. We slowly wean off the treats and reward with praise and pets. This becomes an automatic behavior for them to sit when they approach people to ask for attention. It is important as they become larger dogs they learn an alternative to jumping to get attention. The puppies in this video demonstrate this behavior beautifully and we raise every litter with the same standards.
Our babies are adopted quickly, so reach out to reserve your furever friend or to ask any questions.
